《多物理場仿真:數值方法及工程應用》本書由英特仿真總裁 張群 博士與清華大學 岑松 教授共同編著,是世界上首部多物理場耦合仿真技術及應用專著,由Elsevier與“清華大學出版社”聯合出版,現做為清華大學計算力學系教科書使用。

Constitutive—equation coupling: the primary variable or output of one field influences the material properties or the constitutive equations of the other physics models.
Analysis—domain coupling: a field.usually the structural field, provides displacement boundary conditions for the nonstructural field to influence their analysis domain.
2.4.2 Coupling types by non/inearity:
strong and weak coupling
Based on the level of' nonlinearity caused by the coupling, coupling problems can be classified into SC problems with high nonlinearity and weak coupling problems with low nonlinearity.
For a coupled .system with high correlation between physics models, such as FSI problems with incompressible fluid enclosed by soft structure, FSI problems with structural buckling, or with discontinuous shock wave in CFD field, the nonlinearity of the system is high.This kind of coupling is referred to as an SC problem.

If the dependency between physics models is weak and the nonlinearity of a coupled system is not critical, it is considered as a weak coupling problem, for example,standard thermal—stress coupling problem without highly nonlinear temperature dependent material behavior, fluid—structure problem with high structure stiffness and low Reynolds number flow in an open domain, etc.
